TAHUNA FOOTBALL CLUB

Founded in 1969, Tahuna FC is a community football club based in Tāhunanui, Nelson.

We field six senior teams — four men’s, one 40+ Masters, and one women’s side — and in 2025 relaunched our junior programme, which is growing fast. We now offer football for boys and girls aged 4 and up, with clear pathways through youth to senior football.

Our focus is simple: keep football affordable, inclusive, and enjoyable. We’re committed to low fees, strong community values, and growing the girls’ game locally.
